Privacy Policy

Effective September 23, 2026

Limits is an iPhone app for viewing usage allowances from the AI services you connect. This policy explains how the app and this website handle information.

Overview

Limits does not require a separate Limits account. The app requests information directly from connected providers and stores its working data on your device. The website is a static site and does not use advertising trackers or an analytics SDK.

Information handled by the app

When you connect a provider, Limits handles authorization tokens and, where supplied, account identifiers or email addresses. Tokens are stored in iOS Keychain using device-only protection. Account labels, remaining balances, reset times, refresh status, preferences, saved groups, and usage observations are stored on your device. The app shares a limited saved usage snapshot with its WidgetKit extension through an iOS app group so widgets can work.

Usage observations are kept for up to 90 days and may be removed earlier by clearing history, disconnecting an account, or uninstalling the app. Alerts are local notifications based on the latest successful reading and your settings. Optional Apple Intelligence selection of already computed usage facts runs on supported devices; a standard summary is available without it.

Connected providers

Limits communicates with the services you choose to connect, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Cursor, Google, and xAI, to authorize access and retrieve available usage data. Your sign-in and provider requests are subject to those services’ own privacy policies. Their consent screens may request broader scopes than the usage information Limits displays. Limits uses the resulting credentials to read account identity and available usage data, not to send AI prompts on your behalf.

Network requests necessarily disclose technical information such as your IP address to the provider. Limits does not operate a developer server that receives your provider tokens or saved usage.

Website and support

This website does not set marketing cookies or embed third-party analytics. Its hosting provider may process ordinary request data, such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, and security logs, to deliver and protect the site. If you contact support by email, we receive the address and information you send. We use it to respond to and resolve your request and retain the correspondence as needed for support and legal obligations.

Your choices and deletion

You can disconnect an account in Limits to remove its local credential, saved account data, and associated history. You can clear all usage history in Settings. You can turn off alerts, hide account names or balances in the app and widgets, and disable optional Apple Intelligence summaries. Uninstalling the app removes its local data according to iOS behavior. To request deletion of support correspondence or ask about privacy, contact us at neelksharma13@gmail.com.

Security and children

Limits relies on iOS Keychain and device storage protections for local data. No system can guarantee absolute security. The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek their personal information through the website.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. The effective date above will be revised when we publish a material update. If app data practices change, we will update the App Store privacy information as required.
